Because of Who We Think We Are (Music for Mondays)

Would you believe the Blues Brothers?  Because we are on a mission. Hot on the case. Cool under fire. Or something like that. This is music to fly under the radar with.

We just have to watch out for Carrie Fisher and the rocket launcher, LOL.

Am I hearing some kind of theme here?

LOL, the young Webster Bull? I think not!

Another day in front of the keyboard.  Without prayer, it would be like this…

Our guest Allison, Webster, and Frank.  In that order…

Umbrellas? We don’t need no stinking umbrellas!   We might need a cattle-prod though,  ’cause, OUCH!

Maria, when I read the words I immediately started singing! Last year we sang that for our diocese's ordination mass. Also, our parish school did Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat for the spring musical. In Joseph there is a scene where the pharaoh comes in on his golden chariot. Our rather imaginative staging was a scooter decorated with large amounts of gold tinsel and streamers. So every time we would sing "…bring me my chariots of fire…" we'd all have the mental image of the pharaoh's scooter!

When you are on a mission from God, music is indispensable. After all, chivalry takes some interesting forms. Cheers
